WIEBE: David George Wiebe, age 59 years. of Swift Current, SK passed away February 6, 2011, at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK. The funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 11, 2011 from the Cornerstone Fellowship Church, with Pastor Bryon Bezanson officiating. A tribute was presented by his brother Reuben Wiebe. The organist was Trudy Olfert and the song leader was Ron Olfert. The ushers were: Thomas Dyck, Jake Janzen, Fadi Zanidean and Daryl Taylor. The pallbearers were: Dave Wieler, Bill Dyck, Joe Kluk, Gerry Desautels, Neil Peters and Wes Wiebe. The interment service was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. David is survived by his wife Sharon of 37 years; a son Cory (Nicole); grandchildren: Cole, Jayda and Jake Wiebe; sister Olga (Ken Wik); brothers: Reuben (Marge) and Bill (friend Debbie); sister-in-law Ruby; mother-in-law Phyllis Reimer; brothers-in-law: Garnet Terry and Landis (Gay Lynn) Reimer; sisters-in-law Shirley (Allen) Dilworth and Lorna (George) Tsougrianis and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his mother Agnes (2010), his father Nick (2003) and a brother Bob (2006). David was born June 19, 1951 in Swift Current, SK. He attended school in Rosenhof and at the W.A. Beatty School in Swift Current. He was united in marriage to Sharon Reimer, October 20, 1973. Dave was a true salesman, he sold vehicles at Wilton Motors, Cypress Motors and Gauvin Motors. In 2006 he decided to work with his son Cory at Macmor Industries. His special interests were hunting, taking quad trips to the mountains, with his son Cory and friends. He also enjoyed camping at the landing with family and friends. Dave will be sadly missed by family and friends. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
