Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, February 13, 2011, of Mrs. Laura M. Jenkins (nee Casford) of Charlottetown, age 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late John A. Jenkins, and dear mother of Carol (Norman) Chandler. She is also survived by grandchildren, Anthony Chandler, Scott (Courtney Hogan) Chandler, Chris Jenkins and Trena (Brian) O’Regan; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Keith) Wakelin, Judy Glover, Myrna (David) Currie; and daughter-in-law, Wendy Jenkins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Julia (Steele) Casford; son, John Jenkins; sisters, Jean Webster, Olive MacInnis and Cecelia Rice.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
If so desired, memorial contributions in Laura’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I.
