Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on February 16th, 2011, Mrs. M. Phyllis Peddle of Bishops Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband Gordon, brothers Donald, Nathaniel, Jack, William George. Leaving to mourn daughters: Ada (Fred) Keeping, Burnt Islands, NL, Rita (Robert) Porter, Port de Grace, NL, sons: Leslie (Paula) Peddle, Lab. City and Winston Peddle, Bishop’s Cove; sister Olga (Gordon) Young; sisters-in-law: Rita Smith, Matilda Butt and Viola Smith; nine grandchildren: Olga (Don), Debbie (Tom), Freddie (Michelle), Marlene (Jimmy), Bobby (Rachelle), Chris (Miranda), Jennifer (Lennie), Amanda (Chris) and Sarah (Ashley); nine great-grandchildren: Savannah, Sarah, Caliegh, Robert, Luke, Ava, Keira, Brandon and Johnathan and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service Monday at 2:30 p.m. from St. John’s the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bishop’s Cove. Cremation to take place after funeral service. Burial to be announced at a later date.
