It is with sadness that the families of the late Lorraine Mary Pitcher announce her sudden passing at her residence, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 84. Lorraine is predeceased by her husband, Cornelius Pitcher; parents, Leo and Amelia Maddox; brothers, Mike, and Jim. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: son, John, (Annette) of New Brunswick; daughter, Patricia (Glen) Pretty of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; grandchildren, Jordan, and Anthony; sisters, Catherine, and Monica; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will take place Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 7-9 pm, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral service will take place Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11 am from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish, Grand Falls Windsor, NL with Father Cobert officiating. The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
