On February 16, 2011, just one year and twelve days after losing his wife Dorothy, Gordon entered into eternal rest. Everything good in his life will go on living in his daughters Sandra (John) & Sonja (Corey); and his grandsons Andrew, William, Peter, and Nathaniel. He was predeceased by his wife; parents Janie and Albert Hounsell; sister Elizabeth and his in-laws Annie & Emmanuel Legge. Along with his immediate family he leaves a huge circle of extended family on both the Legge and Hounsell sides as well as a large circle of friends. Visitation with a family service will take place on Sunday Night. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Jeffrey’s. A reception will follow at Three Rivers Lions Club in McKays. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the family or to a charity of one’s choice.
