Wells, Josephine Elizabeth (nee Anderson)
February 4, 1930 – February 16, 2011
Josephine Elizabeth Wells passed away February 16, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Jo was born and lived in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where she married Norman Wells. After moving to Calgary in 1956, she enjoyed a lengthy career at the North Hill Sears as a shoe salesperson. Jo will be lovingly remembered and missed by her four children, George (Denise), Terry (Michelle), Danny and Lisa. As well as her eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family would like to thank everyone that showed Mother kindness, compassion and support during the past one and a half years of her life. And a special Thank You goes out to Chaplain Marlette Reid of the Agape Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Jo’s life at EVAN J. STRONG FUNERAL SERVICES (5502 – 2 Street SW/one block east of McLeod Trail at 53rd Avenue SW) Calgary, Alberta on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 am.
