DOREY, Harlan Wade- 27, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at home. Born on August 8, 1983, in Scarborough, Ont., he was a son of Linda (Lutz) Dorey, Berwick, and the late Wade Dorey. Harlan moved with his family to Berwick in 1989. He loved sports and was involved with Berwick Minor Hockey. Harlan enjoyed music and loved to play and sing with his friends. He loved people and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Besides his mother, he is survived by sisters, Tanya (Don) Musseau; Kristal (Bob) Murray, all of Alberta; Glenna (Josh) Kenneally, Halifax; maternal grandmother, Dot Lutz, Halifax; nephews, Jeffrey and Daniel Musseau, Nash and Maverick Murray; niece, Summer Murray; aunts, uncles and many cousins. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a maternal grandfather, Reg Lutz; paternal grandparents, Harlan and Olive Dorey. Visitation for Harlan was held from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, February 19, in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 20. Pastor Gary Horton officiated, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to D.A.R.E. Canada or to any charity.
