At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, of C. Jean Harding of Stanley Bridge, aged 86 years.
Born in North Granville on November 29, 1924, the last surviving member of the family of late Lester and Lucy Ann (Parsons) Chappell.
Wife of the late George S. Harding. Mother of Joan Harding, Stanley Bridge; Allan Harding, Alberta; and Nancy (Lewis) Foster, Kensington. Grandmother of Andrea (Kevin) Rogers, Cornwall; Brody Harding, Alberta; and Brittany Harding, Cornwallis, Nova Scotia. Sister-in-law of Shirley Chappell, Eleanor Harding, Urban (Alice) Harding, Stella Harding, Cyril Lambourn and Ronald MacElwee.
Predeceased by sisters, Elva (William Sr.) Heffel, Ethel (Kenneth Duggan and Thane Douglas); brother, John Chappell; brothers-in-law, Victor, Wallace and Vernon Harding; and sisters-in-law, Lena Elstone, Muriel Lambourn, Verna MacElwee and Thursa Harding.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
