1933 – 2011 - Shediac – Terry Stack, 77, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, February 27, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Montreal on March 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Roach) Stack. Terry moved to Shediac in 1981 to take a management position with National Sea Products. After retirement, he opened up Captain Terry’s Fish Market on the Pointe-du-Chêne wharf. Terry will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Sylvia Fabiani; his children, Steven (Lori) of Vancouver, BC, Lynn Mcleod of Barrie, ON, and Coleen Aldred of Moncton, NB; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, Wendy Bujold.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, March 2nd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 3rd at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in Pointe-du-Chêne at 11 am. No visitation on Thursday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross, Friends of the Moncton Hospital or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
