RIVERTON – Ola Kathleen Cameron Bagnell, died March 1, 2011 at Valley View Villa, Riverton.
Born in 1928, she was the only daughter of Campbell and Rose Cameron.
Her early years were spent on the family farm on Fraser's Mountain.
At the young age of 18 she began employment at Sunshine Launderers and Drycleaners as a bookkeeper. She eventually became an expert in all areas of the laundry and drycleaning business spending almost 60 years in the business.
Her passion was gardening where from spring to fall she would plan, plant, tend, then harvest her enormous vegetable garden.
In 1980 she married the love of her life, Jim Bagnell who predeceased her in 1988.
She is survived by her husband's children Gloria Fraser (Bill) Bill Bagnell (Bronwyn) and their children, Allan Fraser (Meghan and Ezra) Mairi Fraser (Jeremy) Beth Fraser, Meredith Fraser and Mary Bagnell.
A public memorial service will be held Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date
