YOUNG, Rosalene Ruth “Rose” - 88 of Brooklyn, Annapolis County passed away, Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bloomington, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Crouse) Trask. Rose enjoyed flowers and watching the hummingbirds and pheasants, hooking rugs and knitting and working with her hands. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and family get-togethers. She is survived by daughters, Valerie Benjamin, Mount Hanley; Connie Young, Wilmot; Sandra (Stanley) Simpson, Brickton; Darlene Moore (Robert Sweet), Berwick; June Young, Wilmot; Bridget (Peter) Jackson, Brickton and Carol Young, Brooklyn; sons, Randy (Linda) Young, Mount Hanley; Larry (Debbie) Young, Wilmot; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby (Bev) Carter, Saint John, NB and Una (Everett) Veinot, Bloomington; brother, Lawrence “Ned” (Lorraine) Trask, Moschelle and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; son, George and son-in-law, Richard Moore; sisters, Reta Cummings and Thelma Daniels. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held, 2 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448; Rev. Leon Langille officiated.
