It is with great sadness the family of the late Bert Creamer announces his passing on Thursday march 3rd, 2011 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Chatham, NB the son of the late James and Mary (Cahill) Creamer. Bert was a devoted member of St Michael’s Basilica his entire life, Associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3. Avid Curler , activities and greeting people at the Irish Festival he was involved in the 254 wing and the M.A.E.A. Exhibition. Bert was a member of the Miramichi Old Timers Baseball. Bert is survived by his nieces: Mary (Bob) Steeves of Sussex, Joan (Late Hal Snow) of Dartmouth, NS, and nephew Jim (Maureen) Creamer of Saint John along with several grandnieces and nephews.
Bert is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi on Friday March 4th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 5th, 2011 at 11am at St Michael’s Basilica Miramichi with Fr John Fraser officiating. Interment will be St Michael’s Cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi serving the Miramichi and surrounding area for 100 years.
