1948 - 2011 - Raymond J. LeBlanc, 62, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, March 4th, 2011, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Laurie and the late Yvonne (née: Cormier) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc had a great love for his family and he enjoyed socializing with his many friends. Raymond also enjoyed working with his hands, in particular, he had a passion for drawing and sketching. He was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church and the Salem Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Annette (née: LeBlanc); his former wife and family friend (mother of Raylene and Rodney), Pat LeBlanc of Moncton; two daughters: Raylene LeBlanc (Kirk Teed) and Melissa Bernard, both of Moncton; one son, Rodney (Brooke Cain) of Colpitts Sett.; one step-daughter, Amanda Day (Danny LaMarche) of Harcourt; one step-son, Andrew (Constance) Day of Tinker A.F.B., Oklahoma; two sisters: Maria (Roger) Landry of Cocagne and Irene LeBlanc of Bouctouche; five brothers: Al (Reta) Gauvin of Salisbury, Yvon, Paul (Claudette) and Maurice (Jeannette), all three of Moncton and Ronnie (Jeanne) of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Abby, Colins, Kayla, Carly, Dylan and Alex & Aaron, whom he raised as sons; one great grandson, Jayden; two special family friends: Denny of Colpitts Sett. and Stephanie of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews. He will sadly be missed by man’s best friends: Bugsy and Taz. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister: Annette.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 2 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the chapel on Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at 3 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
