Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Patrick (June, 1977). Leaving to celebrate her life with happy and loving memories are two daughters Marjorie (Pat) and Linda; five sons: Donald (Ann), Kevin (Susan), Gerard (Ruth), Ben (Shirley) and Shawn (Brian); sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; very special friends Jenny and Wanda and her many friends at St. Clare Manor in St. John’s, as well as an extended circle of family and friends. Resting at Hopkin’s Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Visitation Wednesday, March 9 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday, March 10, 10 a.m. until the time of funeral. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. from St. Anne’s Church, Red Head Cove. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay De Verde.
