Thomas Hopkins

Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Centre on March 2, 2011, Mr. Thomas Hopkins of Roddickton, NL, in his 78th year. Thomas leaves to mourn his wife Emma, Roddickton; daughters Judy Simms (David), Englee, and Dulcie Clarke, St. John’s; sons Clarence (Terri), Portland, Oregon, Warrick (Karen), Lewisporte, Bruce (Debbie), Roddickton, and Christopher (Cheryl), Stony Plain, Alberta; sisters Nellie House, Deer Lake, Ursula (Carl) May, Roddickton, Maude (Clarence) Smith, Norris Point, and Zena (Herbert) Smith, Norris Point; brothers Jesse (Mary-Jane), Springdale, and Neville (Lucy), Spruce Grove, Alberta, and his 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton, from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, with Rev. Rene S. Cassell officiating. Burial followed in the Apostolic Faith Cemetery, Roddickton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
