Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at the Health Science Centre, in her sleep, after a brief illness. Myrtle Jean Stacey, age 70 years. Myrtle was a high profile Real Estate Agent who spent 30 years loving her work and all the people she touched in her life; every client became her lifelong friend. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Evelyn Collins. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 52 years Leonard; her three sons: Paul (Cecilia), Craig (Sharon) and Jeff (Paula); grandchildren: Lyndsey, Rachel, Jennifer, Kourtney, Ben, Jeffery, Morgan, Emily; great-granddaughter Ruby; brothers: Edward Wells, Jerdon Collins; sisters: Bonnie Wells, Margaret (Don) Lush, Bernice (Fred) Bryant and Marie (William) Taylor. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to her colleagues, co-workers at Exit Realty and friends for all their well wishes, kindness and support. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 21st, 2011 from St. Paul’s Church, Newfoundland Drive at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, St. John’s Chapter. All are welcome for a reception following the interment at Exit Realty, Freshwater Road.
