Margaret Ward of Lincoln passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Friday, March 18, 2011. Born in Shirly Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Morley W Ward and Vera (nee Wood). She is predeceased by brothers Hubert, Leo, Harold, Murray and Clair (Malcolm), and sisters Geraldine, Myrtle, Lenore and Connie. She resided in Lincoln for the past 55 years with family, including her brother-in-law Alvah Cogswell. She was loved and admired by nephews Morley Brownell (deceased), Morley Ward and Dana Ward, and nieces Connie Brownell (deceased), Phyllis Hughes, Shirley Calhoun and Cori Ward as well as their spouses, children and grandchildren. She was an Assistant Librarian for many years in Saint John and Fredericton. She retired in 1988. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the D.E.C.H. ER and 3East for their care in Marg's last days.
