The death of Michael Kellar of French Village, husband of Mary Ann (McGaghey) Kellar, occurred March 20, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, son of Gladys (Kilpatrick) Kellar and the late Curtis Kellar. Mike was employed at the Hampton Community Centre from 1977- 2009. He was a member of the Anglican Parish of Upham. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two step-daughters, Megan and Colleen Callaghan, at home; two sisters, Susan Walsh (John), French Village, Louise Arseneau (Rick), Saint John; three brothers, John (Bonnie), Andrew (Evelyn Carey) and David, all of French Village; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Walter.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063Main Street, Hampton, with visitation Tuesday 7 to 9pm and Wednesday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held 11:00am, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Andrews Church, French Village with Rev. Marian Lucas-Jefferies officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
