Formerly of Ferryland, age 88 years. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Saturday, March 19th, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Predeceased by husband Jack; parents Augustine and Helena Costello; brothers William, Rupert, Clarence, Gussie and Raymond, Arnold; sisters Sr. Augustine and Marcella. Leaving to mourn four nieces Uriel Kruger (Karl – deceased) Toronto, Ont., Helena Walsh (Leo) Aquaforte, N.L., Catherine Ward (Eugene), Portugal Cove, South, Regina White (Jerome) Ferryland; also several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends especially the Joy families from Catalina. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Patrick O’Shea, the staff and volunteers at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home 3 West for their compassionate loving care over the past four months. Also her caregiver Loretta Murray and kind neighbours on Craigmiller Avenue and to Dr. J. Oosthuizen (Heine) for all his care over the past several years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, March 21st, 2011 from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from Caul’s Chapel on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
