SMUDY – Mr. Clarence Joseph Smudy formally of Swift Current, SK, passed away in Cranbrook, BC, on July 3, 2009. Clarence was born in Cudworth, SK, on September 6, 1939. Clarence was a pipeline welder for many years but made his home with his wife Joan and son Kevin in Swift Current. In 2005, Clarence and Joan moved to Cranbrook, BC. They bought an acreage outside of Cranbrook where Clarence loved to garden and putter in his yard. Clarence is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Sophie Smudy. He is survived by his wife Joan; son, Kevin; and three sisters: Othilia, Leona and twin sister Caroline; along with many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
