It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matilda Madore announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the age of 78 years. She will be sadly missed by one son, Tony Madore (Rhonda) of Stephenville Crossing; five brothers: Dan of Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, Herb of Deer Lake, Marcel and Roy, both of Ontario, Lawrence of Stephenville Crossing; four sisters: Corrina Nardini, Rita Keating, Maggie Curnew, all of Stephenville Crossing, Winnie (Stan) McFatridge of Placentia Bay; one grandchild, Dennis and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Nath; brothers: Charlie, Allan, Isadore and sister, Anna. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.
