OAKE. Harvey Ludwick - It is with sadness that the family of the late Harvey Ludwick Oake announce his passing at his residence in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on March 27, 2011 at the age 83. Harvey is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Fanny Oake; brothers, Selby and Gerald; sisters, Helen and Anita. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Mabel; children, Pauline (Ken) Hillier, David (Kay), and Darlene (Garry) Coffin; Four grandchildren, Michael, Benjamin, Andrew, and Samantha; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Boyce, and Lesley; sisters, Hilda, Rita, Georgina, and Elsie; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation took place Tuesday, March 28, 2011 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service took place Wednesday at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel with Majors Owen and Sharron Rowsell officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
