Marie Marguerite Thompson, 90, wife of Raymond M. Thompson of Manoir Pascal Poirier, Shediac and formerly of Scoudouc passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born in Cocagne, May 13, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Sylvain and Élizabeth (LeBlanc) Dallaire. She was a member of the Club de l'âge d'or in Scoudouc. Marie leaves to mourn her husband Raymond M. Thompson of the Villa Providence, Shediac, a brother Aquila Dallaire (Aurela) of Scoudouc, a nephew whom she considered as a brother, Normand Dollard (Adeline) of Scoudouc, and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters: Rosée Keenan and Laudia Landry and by three brothers: Frédérick and Hervé Dollard and Gérard Dallaire.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY. Funeral mass will be held at St. Jacques le Majeur Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
