GAREAU, Louis Joseph. The community of Bellevue is saddened to announce the passing of Louis Gareau at his home on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Louis continued his journey home after a long and very courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Wakaw on Dec 23, 1957 and lived in Bellevue for most of his life. He was dedicated to his community and to his friends, always willing to help out when he could. He will be missed by many. He leaves to mourn his memory his brother Omer (June McCallum) from Prince Albert, his nephew Dean (Esther Pawlachuk) from Saskatoon and their children Noah, Anna, Tobia, Zara; his niece April Canard from Thompson, Mb and her children Justin, Wyatt, Ashley and Kayne; and his niece Leah from Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents Ovila Gareau in 1983 and Alexina (Cousin) Gareau in 1991. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Roque Concepcion at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church in Bellevue. Interment will follow at St. Isidore Cemetery.
