Richards, Cecilia Genevieve - Passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, Cecilia (Woodworth) Richards, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Richards. Loved mother of Diane Young (Elwood) of Guelph and Cynthia Eden (Chris)of Moncton, NB. Proud grandmother of Jeffrey Young, Scott Young (Kendra), Darren Young (Kelly), all of Guelph, Lesley Wetmore (Mark) of Moncton, NB and Lisa Burden (Michael) of St. Thomas. Great-grandma of Paige, Cameron, Brittany, Krystal, Jamie and Great great-grandma of Peyton, Carson and Rylan. Dear sister of Ruth West (Al), Clara Brewster, Marge Arsenault, the late Violet Eisner, Mildred Chapman, Norma Currie, Florence McLaren, Evelyn Sweet, Esther Burgess, Roland, Hugh and Ivan Woodworth. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Timp”. Cecilia will be remembered for her love of knitting and sewing. Funeral services were held at the Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Cremation with inurnment service at the family plot at Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, N.S. in July, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or Crestwicke Baptist Church would be appreciated.
