CHETWYND, James Allan, 54 of East Jordan, Shelburne County passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 in Hampton, N.B. while doing what he loved - driving his truck. Born in Sandy Point, he was the son of the late Archie and Muriel (Wamback) Chetwynd of Lockeport. James enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite past time was fixing old trucks. He was a truck driver most of his life and worked for various companies. He was employed by the Department of Highways but his most recent job was as a devoted truck driver for Don Atkinson’s Trucking. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Darlene (Foote), son Earl, brother, Robert (Catherine) and sister, Dorothy Scott. He was predeceased by his sister, Nelly in infancy and Elizabeth. A memorial service was held for family and close friends on Saturday, April 2 from H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Shelburne. Internment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
