After a lengthy illness Vincent Lawrence MacNeil passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on July 24, 2009.
He was the loving son of Dolores (MacNeil) Bruleigh and stepfather, Kenneth Bruleigh and the late Vincent Leo McNeil.
He is survived by his sister, Jesse Hutchinson (Greg) of Dartmouth, Grace Keating (Kenneth) of Dartmouth, Mary LeVangie (Lloyd) of East Bay and brother, John McNeil (Laura) of Calgary. Also left to mourn are his aunt, Grace Milne and many cousins here in Cambridge.
Vince originally worked for Briand’s as a taxi driver and dispatcher. He worked in Ontario as a long distance truck driver. He was an avid bowler, dart player and fisherman.
He will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Sydney on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
