At the Western Hospital on Monday, July 27, 2009, of Walter James Smith of Knutsford, aged 57 years. Husband of Sharon E. (Lidstone). Son of the late Clarence and Birdie (MacWilliams) Smith. Loving father of Rodney (Colleen), Dunblane; Todd (Tracy), Alberton; Spencer, Glenwood; Jennifer (Allen) Desroches, Forest View; and Tyler, living at home. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren. Survived by nine brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his parents and father-in-law, Keith Lidstone.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Funeral in the chapel Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Knutsford Cemetery. Memorials to the Knutsford Cemetery would be appreciated.
