MURRAY, John Joseph - Passed away April 2, 2011 after a lengthy illness at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre, John Joseph Murray of Peterview. He was 68 years of age. Mr. Murray retired from Newfoundland Tractor as a Parts Salesman in 1998. He was predeceased by his parents Martha and Jack Murray. He leaves to mourn his wife Loretta; sons, Anthony (Caroline), Johnny (Leigh) and Corey; five grandchildren, Travis, Tamara, Samantha, Hunter and Tyson. Also leaving to mourn his sisters, Jenny Gilbert, Shirley Saunders, Norma (Lucien Benazzi), Patricia (James Worden), Helen (Paul Morgan), Christine (Sergia Amendola), Joan (Alfred Baird) and Catherine Eveleigh; brothers, Michael (Margaret), Kevin (Pam), Harold (Donna), David (Ann) and Cyril (Marie) and circle of other relatives and friends. Father Eugene Morris conducted funeral mass at St. John The Baptist Church, Botwood on Wed., April 6, 2011 with interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements by Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were Corey Murray, Mike Dalley, Winston Vineham, Jamie Vineham, Cecil Vineham and Melvin Stockley. Honorary pallbearer was Kevin Murray.
