JOHNSTONE, Dale Thomas - 50, of Berwick, Kings County, passed away at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Keith and Ada Johnstone. He had been a seasonal employee of Berwick Heights Golf Club and enjoyed playing cards and listening to country music. He is survived by sisters, Lucy (Dennis) Banks, West Brooklyn Mountain; Esther (Murray) Peterson, Black Rock; Marjorie Johnstone, Hamilton, Ontario; brothers, Lawrence (Mary), New Minas; Keith (Roxanne Blair), Wolfville; Harry, Bear River; George (Marion), Billtown; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Rosetta, Angel and Priscilla; brothers, Joseph and Owen. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, Reverend Tim Bigelow officiating. Burial took place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Donations in memory may be made Canadian Diabetes Association.
