Mingledorff, Rev. Stanley P. - 89, Oxford passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Douglas, Georgia, he was the son of the late Rev. Ozie and Maxiline (Johnson) Mingledorff. Stanley attended  Asbury College in Kentucky and graduated from Olivet College. He pastored in the states of Georgia, Mass.,and Vermont with the Church of the Nazarene until retirement. Stanley is survived by wife, Ethel Piercy Mingledorff; children, Renée (Robert) Christiana; Stephen (Kim) Mingleforff; Laurel (Sammy) Smith; step-children, Anne (Mike) Ives; David (Kelley) Piercy; Glenn (Dana) Piercy; 5 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Warren and Walter (Maurine); sister, Edith (James) West; sister in law, Norma Mingledorff. He was predeceased by wife, Rachel Watrous; brothers, Ozie Claude and Philp. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930). Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., all in Church of the Nazarene, 207 Lower Main St, Oxford, with Rev. Mark Collins officiating.
