Kathleen, age 77, passed away in Vancouver BC on May 24, 2017.
Former piano performer, teacher, McGill Conserv., Fac. of Music, 1980-98; Assist. Prof, Cult., Herit., Cape Breton Univ., 1999-2009; piano performer/teacher, Halifax, 2010-14. Brilliant pianist/inspirational teacher, she is deeply bereaved by her family, extended family, friends and students.
Kathleen is survived by husband, Arthur, former Dean Arts/Comm. Stud., Cape Breton U, and family, Devin and partner Shelliza (Vancouver), Strahan and partner Amy (Nanaimo), and four grandchildren, Zakaria, 7, Nalani, 3, Sebastian, 3 and Maiya, aged 16 months.
