With deepest gratitude, the family of the late Dinah Caroline Brake wish to thank all those who offered encouragement, support and aid during her brief illness and upon her passing.

To extended family, friends and neighbours, Dinah dearly loved your visits and company during her illness. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to you for your many acts of kindness in the way of food, flowers, cards, monetary gifts, donations to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, and words of sympathy and comfort upon her passing.

Many thanks to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital staff for their care and support, especially the staff of 4A whose professionalism and kindness surpassed our expectations during her brief stay on their unit.

We express special gratitude to Reverend Malcolm Palmer for his consoling words and for officiating the lovely funeral service with accompaniment by organist, Dennis Barnes. Finally, we commend Fillatres Funeral Home for their guidance and professional service during our difficult time.

Dinah - Mom, Mom Brake, Nan - was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who felt profound love and pride for her family. She will always be remembered for spoiling us with her fantastic knitting, quilting and cooking, for entertaining us with her quick wit and feistiness and, perhaps most of all, for demonstrating such amazing courage and strength.

Small but mighty and forever in our hearts.
