It is with great sadness that the family of the late Levi Knee announce his peaceful passing at his home on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his three children: Carolyn (Barry) Allan, David (Jackie) Knee and Debby (John) Doucette-Burns; brother Ron (Annie) Knee; sisters: Lucy Zimmerman, Sue (Max) Pike, Alma (Gerry) Jeffs, Barbara Hoskins and sister-in-law Hilda Read; grandchildren: Krista, Maggie, Morgan, Candice and Dessiré; great-grandchildren: Erica, Carson, Gage and Daphne; as well as a large circle of family and friends, including special cabin buddies John and Lisa Wood. He was predeceased by his wife Daisy (2014); parents David and Dorcas Knee; in-laws: Sidney and Bessie Noseworthy; brother William (Doreen) Knee; sisters: Glenneth (Gideon) Simms and Marion (Larry) Sutherland; brothers-in-law: Eugene Zimmerman and John Hoskins. In keeping with Levi's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his residence: 73 Carberry's Road, between the hours of 2-6 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank.
