TREFRY, Robert Phillip – age 61, Pembroke, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 29, 1956 in Timmins Mines, QC, he was a son of the late Robert Malcolm and Mariette Claire (Baillergeon) Trefry. Robert had served with the Canadian Armed Forces. He loved reading, enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing as well as riding his bike. He will be remembered as a great dad by his daughters, Angela Trefry-Davis (James), Dayton and Kelly Trefry (Adam Muise), Yarmouth. Also surviving are grandchildren, Leanne Earle, Logan Davis, Jesse Davis, Caleb Trefry, Jacob Trefry, Joshua Trefry and Mia May Muise, as well as a sister, Patricia “PJ” Trefry, Wedgeport and Robert’s former wife, Mae (Deveau) Trefry. In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation by request or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia.
