It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Gillis announce her passing on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Darren (Donna), Darrel, Joanne, Reg, Gary (Evelyn) and Rob Veary; grandchildren: Daniel (Joanne), Adam (Wanda), Megan (Shane), Jordan, Cody and Lana; great-grandchildren: Keisha, Nicole, Jaden and Mia; niece Rita (Gerry) Conway and family; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Elizabeth Tobin, mom Maggie and Charles Benoit, brothers Leonard, Reg, Tom and Gerald. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Father Andrew White officiating.
