Aged 61, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Fahey's Personal Care Home in Fermeuse, surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friends. Maureen loved to laugh and was a generous, hard-working woman. She will be missed by all who were touched by her kindness, her laughter, and her warmth. Born to Matthew and Margaret Kenny on February 4, 1956, in Fermeuse. Maureen is survived by her son Marvin, daughter Sherri Lynn (Steve) and two cherished grandchildren; brothers Eugene (Marilyn), Charles, and Jerome; nieces Irene (Gordon) and Elizabeth, nephew Matthew and a special great-nephew and niece. Visitation will be held at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse, from 2-9 on Monday, and from 9-11:30 on Tuesday. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church in Fermeuse. A private interment will take place at a later date. Maureen's family would like to offer special thanks for all the support during these last difficult months, for all the care-giving, the phone calls, the visits, the cakes, the meals, and so much more.
