Marie Gertrude MASSON BARIL (nee Halliday)
May 15, 1919 – June 4, 2017
At the age of 98, Marie passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Nelson Care Home on June 4, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Ray Baril; her parents Walter and Marie Halliday; sisters Pearl; Lily; Evelyn and Donna; her bothers Lawrence and Frank. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ed (Connie) Masson; grandson Myron (Gail) Masson; granddaughter Corelei Masson and great granddaughter Jessica Ducharme. Marie is survived by her sisters Pat (Hans) Laser; Bea Boyer; Doreen (Les) Johnson her brothers Tom (Trudy) Halliday and Alan Halliday as well as many nieces and nephews. Marie enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting and loved her many puppies over the years. We wish to thank the staff at Nelson Care Home for the special care provided to Marie. Memorial Service for Marie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday June 8, 2017 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, Sk. Interment will be held at a later date.
