
William James LeBlanc
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William James LeBlanc, 69, on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Northside General Hospital. Born in Alder Point, he was the son of the late Raymond and Emma Mae (Marsh) LeBlanc. William worked as a fisherman with National Sea Products in Louisbourg for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and camping in Groves Point. William is survived by his three sons, Duke and Shawn of Sydney Mines and Charlie of Ontario; also by four sisters, Marguerite Compton, Sydney Mines, Joyce (James) Paquet, Mary O’Toole, both of Alder Point, Lillian Forrest, North Sydney; a brother, Cyril LeBlanc, Alder Point, brother-in-law, John Thurbide, Alder Point; his extended family, Brian Harrietha, Kerri Harrietha (the light of his life), Carl (Barb) Morgan, Rose Harrietha, special grandsons Jamie, Matthew and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his long-time companion, Ethel Mae Williams, sisters, Veronica Theriault, Madonna Thurbide; brothers, Frank and Joseph. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of W.J.
