It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lois June Burbine age 71 of Warren announce her passing on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst.
Born in Wheaton Settlement, NB she was a daughter of the late Paul and Edith (Morton) Steeves.
Lois taught school for 11 years in River Hebert and the Acadia Street School in Amherst. She later worked for her husband in his company D.A. Burbine Sales Ltd. In the office.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her daughter Chantelle Burbine (Stan Wilson) in Halifax, brothers Vernon and Donald Steeves in The Glades, NB and sister Mary (Frank) Matthews of Moncton, NB and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by sister Pauline Teakles and brother Robert.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of Canada.
