Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Thursday June 8, 2017, Elizabeth (Lizzie) F. Cranford of New Harbour, Trinity Bay in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her husband Maxwell Cranford, daughter Florence Wheeler, son Donald, daughter- in-law Shirley, sons-in-law Victor Wheeler, Norbert Pruefer, Douglas Beaumont, Raymond Bedard and her grandson Victor Wheeler Jr. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Maxwell Jr., Llewellyn (Betty) and Wayne (Judy); her daughters Patricia, Eileen and Louise; and daughter-in-law Marg; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Mom will always be remembered for her gentle smile and ability to cope with all of life's twists and turns with an accepting reverence. Special thanks to two granddaughters Janice Woodman and Barbara Ann Shute, who helped her so much after the passing of her husband and the adjustment of just growing old. Our family wishes to express deepest admiration and thanks to the staff of Tiffany Village for their loving care and support during our Mother's last years. Special thanks also to the staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their professionalism and comfort care given for the brief duration of her stay. Visitation to take place at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo on Saturday 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday 2-7 pm. Funeral to take place at Trinity United Church Blaketown, on Monday June 12, 2017 at 2 pm.
