Alphonsus Roderick ‘Buddy’ Corbett

Buddy Corbett of Calgary passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 61 years.
Born May 17, 1956 in Sydney, he spent his early years in the military. During his time in the military, Buddy relocated to Calgary in 1983. He left the military to spend more time with his family. Buddy was a member of the 587 Whitney Pier Air Cadet Squadron where he made lifelong friendships. He was knowledgeable with computers and was always willing to fix any computer issues for family and friends. Buddy was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Buddy is survived by his son, Brian (Tracy); his daughter, Barbara; his grandchildren, Ava, Parker and Lillian; his brother, William (Shirley); nieces, Chelsea and April; lifetime friend, Anna, and numerous friends in Calgary and Cape Breton.
Buddy was predeceased by his wife, Debra, and his mother, Mary Frances ‘Shine’.
Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Rd. S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
