Passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Health Science Centre, age 69 years. Predeceased by his father Richard; mother Christine; brothers-in-law Edward Bowdring and Gerald Waye and sister-in-law Norma Waye. Left with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 34 years, Frances; daughters Stephanie (John), Leah (Neal) and Kimberley (Ryan); son Christopher (Jackie); cherished grandchildren Emily, Jade, Olivia, Dominic and Simon; brothers Wayne (Michelle), Bob (Sandra); sisters Barbara Bowdring, Elizabeth Belbin (Robert) and special cousin Linda Hibbs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially Clem and Brenda Abbott. A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 North A, Health Science Centre for their compassion and care over the past five weeks. Cremation has taken place at Ian's request and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
