Peacefully with her family by her side at the Atlantic Baptist Home on the birthday of her late husband Reuben on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 of M. Irene Donnelly of Vernon River age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Reuben Donnelly. Dear mother of Jimmy (deceased), Lloyd (deceased), Anne (deceased), Ruby Donnelly, Norma Donnelly, Joan Donnelly, Linda (Rick) Ward, Vernon (Jeannie) Donnelly, Frances (deceased), John (Kim) Donnelly, Carol Ann (deceased), Theresa (George) Johnston, Kenny (deceased), Patricia Donnelly, Darlene (Dwayne) Williams, Bernedette (Rick) Butler, Lorne (Kim) Donnelly and Carlene (Rachel) Donnelly. She is also lovingly remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Gladys (Roland) Gallant and Leona MacQuillan. She was also predeceased by her parents Jim and Mary (Wallace) MacQuillan and brothers and sisters. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday, then transferred to St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Joachim’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
