The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on June 14, 2017 at the Souris Hospital of Freddy Chaisson of Lower Rollo Bay, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Carpenter). Loving father of Cindy George (David), Sam (Linda) Chaisson, Trevor (Lisa) Chaisson, and Christa Schurman (Keith). Grandfather of Devin, Hayden, Chelsea, Devon, Chase, Kiaya, Connor, Freddy and Milo. Survived by sisters Kathaleen Mooney and Isabell Carpenter MacCormack. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris on Sunday, June 18, 2017, 5-8 p.m., and Monday from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Monday afternoon, June 19, 2017 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Souris for Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Alexis Cemetery in Rollo Bay.
