We, the family of the late Sheldon McNeil, wish to express our sincerest gratitude to our family, friends and community for the out pouring of kindness and support shown to us during our recent heartbreaking loss. Our hearts were lifted by the number of people, family and friends, who sent condolences, visited us, called us, sent flowers, made monetary donations, sent food, attended the wake and church service and supported us in so many ways. It was truly heartwarming to know Sheldon had touched so many people during his life. We are also grateful for the many family members and friends who came from away to be with us. Thank you to Carol Ann, John Joe, Winna, Parker, Cecil, Alvina, Audrey, the first responders and Fr. Leo for all you did on that tragic day. Thank you to Joe Curry and the staff of Curry's funeral home for their professionalism and support in helping making the arrangements. Thank you to St.Anne's Parish, Fr. Leo Boone, the choir and organist Jim McNeil, Nina Chiasson for her soul filling singing of On Eagles Wings and all others who participated in Sheldon's Mass of Resurrection. It brought us great comfort and healing. Thank you also to the 4th Degree K of C for the beautiful honour guard and to Charlie MacDonald and the K of C Council 1953 for providing the beautiful luncheon following the service. Our beloved Sheldon is safely home.
