On Wednesday, June 21, 2017 Noreen Winnifred McDonald of Cornwall in her 90th year, with her family by her side. Dear wife of the late Robert McDonald (2015). Beloved mother of Michael (Denise) of Iroquois, Sharon (Robin) Day of Vernon, BC, Cindy Larose-Goulet (Gary Brisson) of Cornwall, Shelley (David) Price of Nanaimo, BC, Lorie (Tim) Schnell and Rob (Brigitte), both of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers John and Calder Black and her sister Margaret Ayotte. Predeceased by her parents Hazel Gallagher and John Black, three brothers Richard, Kenneth, Gary and one sister Thelma Bissonnette. Family and friends will be received at the McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall on Friday, June 23 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 9:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop James Hynes officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall at a later date. Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, 14 York Street, Cornwall gratefully acknowledged.
