The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Friday June 23, 2017 of Betty Catherine MacLennan of Glen Valley, aged 69 years. Wife of Robert MacLennan, mother of Kent (Lisa) MacLennan, Kelly MacLennan, Katie Young (Harold), Kevin MacLennan (deceased). Mother-in-law of Hector Young (deceased). Nanny to Colbey, Courtney, Casey, Sawyer, Ryan and Johnny MacLennan, Chad and Kyle Curtis, Damien Young and Geneva Walsh. Betty was born in Charlottetown on October 16, 1947 daughter of Johnny and Alice (Parker) Gamester. Sister of Alan (Audrey), Wayne (Pam), Derrill (Esther) Gamester, Diane (Kent) Wyand, Mary (Darrell) Malone, Barbara (Rocky) Clark, Susie (Les) Foldi and Darlene (Ted) Foldi. Also survived by daughter-in-law Karen (Ivan) Walsh. Sister-in-law of Shirley Dickieson, Flora MacLennan, Jean (Laken) Lewis, Joan (Cecil) Watts, Barbara (Albert) Weeks, Ruth MacLennan, Joyce (Wayne) Coles, Roy (Helen) MacLennan, Lloyd (Annie) MacLennan, Brenda (David) Arsenault and Gloria McCarville-MacLennan (Alan) McNeill. Predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Mae MacLennan. Brothers-in-law Donnie Dickieson, Freeman MacLennan and Barry MacLennan.
