It is with sadness that the family of Tania Lynn Thompson age 42 of Dieppe formerly of Fenwick announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born March 8, 1975 in Amherst, she was a daughter of Stanley and Ruth (Coates) Thompson.
Tania worked for Tim Hortons for 10 years and for Sobey’s Bakery for 6 years.
She enjoyed reading, crafts and talking to her friends. A social bug. She also loved taking her nieces and nephews to the pool.
Tania will be missed by her sister Tina (Eric Bouchard) Thompson of Fenwick; brothers Ralph of Riverview, NB, James (Leisa) and Derek (Janice) both of Amherst; nieces Trisha Thompson, Jessica Bouchard, Alyssa Thompson and Carolyn MacEachern; nephews Kenny (Jessica MacIntyre) Rector and Alexandre Bouchard; step grandmother Jean Davis; and friend Tammy Rector and aunts, uncles and friends.
She was predeceased by grandparents Audrey and Ernest Coates, Ralph Thompson, step grandmother Dorothy Thompson, grandmother Emma Davis and step grandfather Raymond Davis.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.
