It is with great sadness that the family of the late JENNIE LEWIS of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, June 17th, 2017, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Charles Lewis; son, Ross (Susanne) of Edmonton; daughters, Doreen Hooper (George), Joyce Burbridge (Carl), Diane Smith of St. John’s & Denise Kettle (Ronald) of Thunder Bay, ON; sister, Hannah Layden of Clarenville; sister-in-law, Hazel Baker; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; her extended family, Edward Lewis (Madge), Al Lewis (Diane) & Brenda Farrell (John); plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by first husband, Herbert Reid; brother, Neil (Grace) Upshall; sister, Elizabeth Winters (Stanley); brothers-in-law, George Temple & Donald Layden.

The Funeral Service took place at St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Creston South on Wednesday, June 21st, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Anglican Cemetery in Creston South.
